The course permits graduates in conservation and restoration to complete a five-year specific training programme (which is equivalent to Level 7 of the EQF, which will result in the training and education of competent and trained professionals in this emerging field in the discipline of the Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage, i.e. Preventive Conservation. The learning programme includes the undertaking of preventive conservation practices in institutions that preserve different types of heritage in order to adapt to the preferences and specialty of each individual student. Students study under the tutelage of specialised professionals who will provide the material for the final Master’s degree project.

The idea is to enable graduates to undertake preventive conservation projects with guarantees in order to ensure the conservation and preservation of heritage for the benefit of present and future generations.
